While many organizations are not required to produce an annual report, a wide range of not-for-profits – from associations to charities – choose to report on their accomplishments and promote financial transparency through an annual report.
Why ADHD WA chose to start preparing annual reports;
- it offers an opportunity to thank those who enable us to do the work we do - our staff, board and volunteers,
- it helps us to build relationships, by sharing stories about our work in the community and why it matters,
- it is an opportunity for transparency: disclosing what was accomplished with funds received and the results,
- it is a way to report on ADHD WA accomplishments over the year and how these have benefited members,
ADHD WA Financial Year is based on a calendar year, therefore the AGM is held in April-June of the following year.
