đź’Ą SPARK Your Support – Parent/Carer of Secondary School Aged Child

This 6-week program focuses on equipping a parent/carer of secondary school aged children with strategies on how to support those in their care with ADHD.

Weekly Focus Areas for the SPARK Your Support Program:

  1. Understanding ADHD, parenting, and behaviour
  2. Family relationships, values, and health/wellness
  3. Emotion regulation, shared expectations, supports, and rewards
  4. Behaviour agreements and consequences 1: increasing positive behaviours
  5. Behaviour agreements and consequences 2: decreasing problem behaviours
  6. Trouble shooting; further tips and tricks for an ADHD household

Term 2 | SPARK Your Support (Parent/Carer of Secondary School Aged Child)

📆 Date: The program commences on Friday 3 May and runs for six weeks, with subsequent sessions on 10 May, 17 May, 24 May, 31 May, and the final session on 7 June.

⏰ Time: 4:30pm – 6:00pm

📍Location: The ADHD WA Hub – 109 Montgomery Ave, Mount Claremont

  • Group Size 6-10 children plus parent/carer
  • Open to ADHD WA Family Members only (learn more about ADHD WA Membership)
  • Medicare rebate (under parent/carer name) with a valid referral under Group Therapy Code 80022
    Note: you do not need a referral to book or participate.  You can get the referral after booking if you are eligible.
  • Cost: $116.67 per session / $700 for the full 6-week program.
    With medicare rebate (if eligible): approx $85.45 per session / $513 for the full program

FEE AGREEMENT

Registration and payment mean I understand I am expected to pay the course fee in advance of the start of the course, and I am not entitled to a refund for non-attendance. I understand that receipts for the purpose of claiming Medicare rebates will be issued on a session by session basis, and will be not issued for any missed sessions. I understand that it is the Member’s responsibility to process Medicare claims.

  1. Participants need to be able to commit to 6 weekly, 90 minute sessions
  2. Minimum 6 and maximum 10 participants
  3. Medicare rebates apply for those with an eligible referral

The program is offered under Medicare’s Better Access Initiative (namely Group Therapy). In order to benefit from the Medicare rebate, participants need to have a valid referral from their Psychiatrist, or a Referral and Mental Health Plan (MHP) from their GP.

NOTE: 1 TICKET = 1 REGISTRATION
