I provide assessment and treatment of ADHD in teenagers and adults, starting at about 16 and continuing into later life as needs be. I am in full-time private practice in Nedlands. My focus is on medication treatment and I liaise closely with colleagues who provide the essential aspects of a multimodal treatment approach e.g. psychologists and coaches.
I have over 30 years experience treating ADHD, as well as being involved in published research, and supporting community and professional ADHD groups. Specifically, I’ve been on the Professional Advisory Body of ADHD WA since 1994.

I provide psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. I am deeply committed to my role in helping others gain insight, find relief from distress and develop life-giving skills. My approach draws on a range of evidence based interventions and ways to support adjustment or manage mental/emotional difficulties. Most importantly, I seek to have a genuinely open/curious attitude towards clients and to provide a safe place to explore difficult issues.
One of my particular interests is the parent role, an interest developed though my own parenting experience and my work at Ngala over the past 20 years – facilitating groups, providing professional development workshops and now in a professional advisory and research role. My PhD and subsequent research has been mostly on the father-child relationship, which I now undertake as a Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University.
I also provide psychotherapy for addictions at Fresh Start in Subiaco (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
