Audiologist and Speech Pathologist | Fernandez Hearing - Audiology Clinic

Raquel Fernandez is an Audiologist & Speech-Language Pathologist, specialising in the assessment and management of auditory processing disorders. Raquel has 20 years of extensive local and international experience and is passionate about improving people’s hearing, communication and learning abilities.

Raquel tailors her intervention to each child’s needs, building on their strengths whilst using evidence based practices for optimal outcomes to assist children with learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD and APD.

Raquel works closely with families, schools/teachers and other health care professionals to ensure therapy outcomes are maximised and generalised across all settings.

Raquel holds a BSc in Speech Pathology from Curtin University as well as Masters of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney, specialising in APD and completed her Masters of Clinical Audiology at the University of Western Australia. Raquel is the former lecturer for the UWA Audiology course for Speech & Hearing and Aural Rehabilitation units and UWA supervisor of clinical audiology students.
